As a Public relations officer (PR Officer), you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's public image and reputation. You will work closely with the PR Director and partner PR-agency to develop and execute strategic public relations initiatives and campaigns that enhance the company's visibility, credibility, and positive perception.
Key responsibilities:
Media relations:
cultivate and maintain relationships with media;
monitor media coverage and prepare timely reports;
write and distribute press releases and media kits;
respond to media inquiries and arrange interviews.
Content creation:
develop compelling, newsworthy content;
organize creating engaging visual content to accompany PR campaigns.
Brand management:
ensure brand consistency and integrity across all communication channels;
develop and maintain brand guidelines;
support the development and implementation of marketing collateral;
identify and execute partnership opportunities with relevant organizations or influencers to enhance brand positioning.
Event management:
plan, organize, and execute press conferences, product launches, and other public events;
monitor and report on the effectiveness of events.
Social media management:
monitor and manage the company's social media channels;
develop and maintain an editorial calendar for social media content;
analyze social media metrics to measure the success of PR efforts.
Crisis management:
assist in the development of crisis communication strategies;
act as a spokesperson as and when required, during crisis situations.
Stakeholder engagement:
foster relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and government agencies.
Monitoringand reporting:
monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and threats;
prepare regular reports on PR activities;
track KPIs to measure the success of PR campaigns.
